A&D EK-200i for jewelry, lab samples, parts and formulation balances small-sample precision with enough capacity for containers and assemblies that may overload a 120 g model. The 200 g × 0.01 g balance is non-NTEP, so it is intended for internal work rather than direct legal sales by weight. Its counting, percent, comparator and RS-232C functions cover a broad set of laboratory and production search intents.

Jewelry and component production

Hundredth-gram readability supports internal weighing of findings, small pieces, solder and scrap. Use a certified trade balance if customer payment is calculated from the reading. For internal manufacturing and material reconciliation, EK-200i provides more capacity than EK-120i without changing the 0.01 g display increment.

Laboratory samples and formulations

Tare a sample dish or light beaker and weigh up to the gross 200 g capacity. Percent mode can compare a sample to a 1 g-or-greater reference. If the method requires 0.001 g, move to an FX/FZ model. If the vessel and material routinely exceed 200 g, choose EK-300i, EK-410i or EK-610i while preserving 0.01 g readability where appropriate.

Parts counting and QC

ACAI can count uniform parts with average unit weights down to 0.01 g. Use larger samples for light components and validate a hand count. Comparator limits provide internal pass/fail status, while RS-232C can record the final weight or count. Keep the unit and station ID with electronic records so results remain traceable.
