A&D’s current global EK-i specification table and current EK/EW-i manual list EK-410i at 400 g × 0.01 g, and the current A&D U.S. product-page title also says 400 g × 0.01 g. However, the U.S. page’s internal capacity field shows 410 g, while MNM’s product title says 410 gram even though its technical specification table lists 400 g. For procurement and qualification, the safest published baseline is the repeated 400 g specification from A&D’s global table/manual and MNM’s detailed table, while buyers who intend to operate above 400 g should confirm the exact supplied unit/documentation rather than assuming the final 10 g from a title or web field.

What the current A&D sources say
A&D’s global EK-i/EW-i specification table lists EK-410i: 400 g capacity, 0.01 g readability and a 110 mm round pan. The current EK/EW-i manual repeats 400 g and specifies 0.01 g repeatability, ±0.02 g linearity and a 400 g factory calibration mass. The current A&D U.S. page headline is also “EK-410i Compact Balance, 400g × 0.01g,” but a capacity field on that same page displays 410 g. That internal inconsistency is why a rigorous buyer guide should not silently choose whichever number appears first in search results.

That pattern matches the manufacturer documentation closely enough to treat EK-410i as a 400 g-class balance for planning. If your method or container can approach the top of the range, do not design a procedure that depends on 401–410 g capacity without confirming the actual delivered model documentation and performing overload-safe qualification.

The consistent performance figures are more important for most users than the final 10 g naming discrepancy. Readability is 0.01 g, repeatability is 0.01 g and linearity is ±0.02 g.
