A&D FZ-3000iWP batching balance applications take advantage of 3200 g capacity, 0.01 g readability, internal calibration and IP65 protection for larger production and laboratory loads in cleanup-intensive environments. The extra capacity is particularly useful when heavy vessels or fixtures consume a substantial portion of the gross weighing range.

Large batches and production QC

For coatings, food development, chemicals and process batches, calculate capacity from gross vessel plus material weight. Comparator and statistics can support package or part checks, while internal calibration makes routine adjustment convenient. After significant cleanup or relocation, let the station stabilize, calibrate and confirm a known test mass before critical measurements.

Animal weighing and fixtures

A&D lists FXi-12 animal pan compatibility for FZ-3000iWP. Animal mode can average motion for suitable subjects within capacity. The animal pan, container or custom fixture all contribute to gross load and can introduce vibration or off-center forces, so the complete setup should be checked with known weights.

Wet-area configuration

IP65 supports dust and water-jet resistance, not immersion. Base RS-232C provides data output. Optional Quick USB, Ethernet or battery boards remove IP65 compliance according to A&D, so a facility buying the model for environmental protection should document that restriction before future accessories are added.
