A&D HL-2000i for kitchens, classrooms, packages and general weighing provides 2 kg capacity with verified 1 g readability. It is a simple portable direct-weighing scale for dry internal work, with long AA battery life and optional accessories rather than advanced counting or communications.

Kitchen and food samples

Use HL-2000i for dry ingredient bowls, coffee, recipe batches and food samples when 1 g readability fits. It is not IP rated, so use containers and keep spills away from the housing. The optional stainless pan provides a different contact surface but does not make the scale washdown-safe.

Classrooms and offices

The simple two-key operation and long battery life are practical for shared education and office tasks. The optional carrying case supports transport. After movement, verify zero and a known load. One-gram readability is suitable for larger samples; smaller chemistry measurements may need HL-200i or a precision balance.

Small packages and crafts

Packages, kits, craft materials and components can be checked within 2 kg gross capacity. The 130 mm pan must support the object without contact with the bench or housing. The scale has no shipping software or data output and should be treated as a manual internal check scale.
