Core FX-300i specifications

A&D publishes a typical USP minimum weight value of about 1.4 g for the FX-300i under its stated methodology. This is not the same as saying every 1.4 g sample automatically meets every laboratory’s uncertainty requirement. Minimum weight depends on repeatability, risk, method and acceptance criteria. For regulated or validated work, establish minimum weight from the specific balance in its actual environment and under the applicable quality procedure.
FX-300i versus FX-300iN
MNM distinguishes the FX-300i from the FX-300iN by explaining that models with the “N” suffix are the NTEP/legal-for-trade versions. The FX-300i discussed here is the non-N version and should not be represented as the legal-for-trade configuration.
