Crane Scales

A crane scale is a self-contained hanging unit — hook, shackle, and readout in one body — that you hang from a hoist to weigh the load in the air. All Scales USA in Cypress, TX lists MNM Scales hanging cranes, Brecknell CS/BCS units, and Optima OP-924 / OP-925 models. This page is the integrated hook scale. How to choose a crane scale

Pick capacity with headroom. If the heaviest lift is 2,200 lb, a 3,000 lb crane is safer than a 2,000 lb unit you live on the top of. Readability should match the job: 0.5 lb is wasted if you only need 5 lb; 5 lb is too coarse for a 200 lb tote. Decide hook-and-display in one body versus an S-type kit with a remote indicator — kits belong on the kit leaves, not this gallery. NTEP matters only if you invoice by this hanging weight; most process cranes here are not legal for trade. Confirm remote range, battery hours, and shackle/hook hardware on the product page before you hang a load.
