Floor Scales

A floor scale is a platform you walk or roll onto — pallets, drums, carts, and boxed freight. All Scales USA in Cypress, TX stocks A&D FG/HV platforms, Brecknell floor models, and MNM Scales floor-scale kits (cells, indicator, hardware) when you already have a deck or are building one. Capacities here are shop and dock class.

This is not a truck-scale, pit-scale, or axle-scale page. If you need a weighbridge placed in service, say so on the phone and we will tell you we do not do that work. For a kit without a deck, use Floor Scale Kits. For a countertop pan, use Bench Scales.

How to choose a floor scale

Choose capacity with headroom. If the heaviest load is 4,000 lb, do not buy a 5,000 lb scale and live on the top end. Deck size has to fit the pallet or cart, including the jack. NTEP matters only if you invoice or sell by that weight. Ramps, pit vs. above-floor, and indicator column vs. wall mount change the install more than the brand name. Washdown decks and stainless indicators belong on Washdown Scales or the food hub, not a painted shop deck.
