A&D FZ-1200i batching balance applications take advantage of 1220 g capacity, 0.01 g readability and internal calibration. The combination is well suited to medium laboratory and production batches where gross load can exceed 500 g but a 0.1 g industrial scale would not provide enough resolution.
Batching and formulation
For adhesives, coatings, pigments and chemical preparation, tare can simplify ingredient additions, but the vessel still consumes physical capacity. Keep gross load below 1220 g. Internal calibration is useful when several operators share the station or the room experiences normal temperature change across shifts.
Packaging, parts and QC
Comparator limits can screen packages against internal targets, statistics can summarize repeated weights and ACAI can estimate quantities of uniform parts. For commercial transactions based on weight, confirm the applicable legal-for-trade configuration separately. This standard FZ model should be treated as a process/QC balance unless the required approval is specifically established.
Production records and model choice
Standard RS-232C can transmit results to a PC or printer, while FZ clock/calendar functions can support dated output. Pair readings with batch or sample identity for traceability. Choose FZ-1200i when 1220 g comfortably covers gross load; choose FZ-2000i when larger vessels or fixtures regularly push the process above a kilogram.
