A&D FZ-2000i balance combines 2200 g capacity, 0.01 g readability and automatic internal calibration for users who need more than a kilogram of working range without dropping to typical industrial-scale resolution. It is a strong fit for production laboratories, batching, packaging studies, parts work and QC stations using substantial containers or fixtures.
Performance and capacity margin
A&D lists 0.01 g repeatability, ±0.02 g linearity and about one-second stabilization in FAST mode under favorable conditions. The 2200 g range gives nearly a kilogram more capacity than FZ-1200i while keeping the same 0.01 g display. Internal calibration is especially convenient at this capacity because external 2 kg-class standards are less convenient to handle repeatedly.
Applications and functions
Applications include raw-material batching, package checks, larger-part inspection, formulation, density measurement and inventory counting. ACAI, percent mode, comparator and statistics help adapt the balance to each task. Underhook support makes suspended measurements possible when top-pan geometry is inconvenient.
Data and options
RS-232C is standard. FXi-02 Quick USB, FXi-08 Ethernet and FXi-09 rechargeable battery are optional but mutually exclusive. A&D’s current page also gives a typical USP Chapter 41 minimum weight around 14 g for the 0.01 g group; use that only for preliminary comparison and establish regulated minimum weight from installed performance.
