A&D FZ-2000iWP IP65 balance provides 2200 g capacity, 0.01 g readability and internal calibration in a protected enclosure for heavier wet-adjacent laboratory and production work. The 2200 g range is particularly useful when containers, fixtures or batches exceed the 1220 g model while users still need hundredth-gram readability.
Applications and accessories
The model can support formulation, food and chemical QC, package studies, larger parts, animal weighing and suspended measurements. A&D lists the FXi-12 animal pan for the 1200/2000/3000 iWP group and supports underhook weighing. ACAI, percent, comparator and statistical modes add flexibility for production and laboratory procedures.
Internal calibration and verification
The internal mass makes routine calibration easier than repeatedly handling an external 2 kg standard. After internal calibration, verify with traceable independent masses around the process range. If the station is cleaned or moved, let it dry, stabilize and return to level before checking performance.
IP65 and interface tradeoff
RS-232C is standard. Installing FXi-02 Quick USB, FXi-08 Ethernet or FXi-09 battery removes IP65 compliance from the configured balance, and those options are mutually exclusive. For a washdown-oriented workstation, retaining the base IP65 configuration may be more important than adding optional connectivity.
