A&D FZ-200iWP IP65 balance provides 220 g capacity, 0.001 g readability and internal calibration in a protected FZ-iWP enclosure. It gives users more capacity than FZ-120iWP while retaining milligram display resolution. IP65 protects against dust and water jets under specified conditions, but it is not an immersion rating.
Where the 220 g model fits
The 220 g range suits sample preparation, wet-adjacent lab work, food R&D, pharmaceutical or chemical QC and small production parts where containers or samples exceed the 122 g model’s range. The 130 mm pan keeps the platform compact, while internal calibration reduces dependence on a loose external mass during routine adjustment.
Functions and data
ACAI counting, percent, comparator, statistics, animal mode and underhook functions extend the balance beyond basic weighing. RS-232C is standard. Optional USB, Ethernet or battery hardware can support different workflows, but A&D states installing FXi-02, FXi-08 or FXi-09 removes IP65 compliance, and those options cannot be combined with one another.
Cleaning and verification
Clean using methods compatible with the balance materials and IP65 limitation, then allow the instrument to dry and thermally stabilize. Run internal calibration and verify with an independent known mass after significant relocation or cleaning. At 0.001 g, residual droplets, static and air movement can matter more than users expect.
