Before Replacing the Battery

Confirm the exact ERJR model, voltage, chemistry, capacity, dimensions, terminals and connector polarity. Disconnect AC power and follow the scale service instructions. Do not install a swollen, leaking or physically damaged battery.

Charging and Battery Life

Use the correct CAS-compatible charger or adapter and complete the recommended initial charge. Recharge before deep discharge, keep the scale away from excessive heat and place stored equipment on a maintenance-charge schedule when appropriate.
