The MNM Scales 10,000 lb x 0.2 lb load cell for winch, towing and industrial pull-force testing lets shops measure the actual tensile force in a controlled line instead of estimating pull from motor current, vehicle weight or the equipment's advertised rating. Its S-beam geometry, fine indication and OP-901A Peak Hold make it useful for comparative pull testing and equipment evaluation.
What Pull-Force Data Can Tell You
A controlled inline test can show breakaway force, maximum line pull, steady pull after movement begins, before/after service differences, repeated-cycle consistency and force changes caused by pulley routing or fixture geometry. For industrial actuators or fabricated machinery, it can document how much tensile force a mechanism actually develops under a defined condition.

Peak Hold Captures Breakaway Force
The force required to start an object moving can be higher than the force needed to keep it moving. Peak Hold can capture that short maximum, which is particularly useful for winches, pulling fixtures and actuator testing where the operator might otherwise miss the highest number on a changing display.
Test Geometry Matters
Keep the S-beam axial and use properly rated attachments. A change in line angle, pulley arrangement, drum layer or friction changes the force being measured, so comparative tests need the same geometry. The sensor should measure the force path; it should not become a side-loaded recovery point or absorb uncontrolled shock loads.

Common Searches This System Answers
Buyers often search for a winch pull force meter, towing force measurement load cell, 10,000 lb tension scale, S-beam force sensor with Peak Hold, or a load cell for actuator testing. This complete MNM package addresses those needs when the application can use an inline 10,000 lb tension/compression sensor and digital indicator.
