Core HT-120 specifications

Capacity is 120 g and readability is 0.01 g. The stainless circular pan is approximately 2.75 inches in diameter, the backlit LCD uses roughly 14 mm digits and the scale supports g, oz, Newton, troy ounce and carat units. Four AA batteries are included, an optional adapter is available and the protective case is stackable for storage.

Carat is a unit—not piece counting

The ct unit displays carats for gemstone mass. It does not count individual pieces or store an average piece weight. Users who need inventory counting should select a counting scale. HT-120 also has no listed RS-232C, USB or statistical functions; its strength is portable direct weighing with a finer display than the older 0.1 g HT models.

Portable case and power

The hard case protects the scale during normal transport and can remain open around the scale as a field shield, but it is not a draft enclosure or weatherproof case. Up to 500 hours of battery life and auto power-off support mobile use. After transportation, let the scale acclimate and verify zero plus a known mass before important measurements.

External calibration and legal status

HT-120 uses external calibration with a suitable reference. Verify independently after adjustment. A&D and MNM do not identify it as an NTEP legal-for-trade scale, so use it for internal education, quality, hobby and sample weighing rather than regulated customer pricing. It is also not washdown or IP rated.
