A&D GC-30K for Bearings, Heavy Hardware, Bulk Bins & Warehouse Inventory

A&D GC-30K for bearings, heavy hardware and bulk bins provides 30 kg / 60 lb local capacity while keeping the GC system’s 1,000-item memory, AIS, ACAI, MicroSD and connectivity. It is aimed at warehouse and production applications where containers and sample lots routinely exceed 15 kg-scale capacity.

Bearings, fittings and large fasteners

Larger machined parts often have enough individual mass that the 5 g direct resolution produces a robust sample signal. Use ACAI to reduce average unit-weight error and store stable SKUs for repeat work. Oil, chips, protective grease and supplier changes can alter unit mass, so periodically compare a stored setup with a freshly hand-counted sample.

Bulk-bin cycle counting

The detachable display helps when a bin blocks the front of the scale, and USB/mobile power supports inventory carts. Ensure the bin fits the 300 × 210 mm pan without touching a shelf, post or display support. A container that bridges to another surface makes the scale read low and can create a major count error.

Receiving and production checks

Use stored item data to compare received quantity with packing documents or to prepare production lots. For a changed lot, resample unit weight first. Comparator lights/buzzer can indicate whether a count or weight is inside desired limits, helping operators catch shortages and overfills quickly.

When 30 kg is still not enough

A&D promotes external industrial-base connectivity through AD-8561. Use the local GC or a more sensitive balance to establish average unit weight, then use a larger SB-series base for the full lot. Validate the remote scale’s resolution against the piece weight; enormous capacity with coarse resolution can degrade count quality for small parts.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose GC-30K? Heavy bins/lots up to 30 kg plus advanced GC memory/data tools. Does it fit tiny parts? It can count them with adequate sample mass, but a lower-capacity or external precision balance may be better. Can it store many warehouse SKUs? Yes, 1,000 internally plus MicroSD. Can it use a larger base? Yes. Can it run on a mobile battery? Yes.
