A&D HL-1000WP for food, coffee, seafood and small portions gives operators 1000 g capacity with 0.5 g readability in a compact hygienic IP65 scale. It is designed for small wet or dusty tasks where a 3 kg scale would be unnecessarily coarse or large.

Food portions and ingredients
Use the scale for toppings, sauces, deli portions, spices and small bowls within 1000 g gross capacity. Tare changes the displayed zero but the container still consumes physical capacity. The 0.5 g division supports many food portions, while tiny additives may require a finer balance.
Coffee and dry ingredients
Coffee beans, grounds and small development batches fit the capacity. IP65 and stainless construction help with cleanup, but avoid allowing liquid to pool around the controls. A&D’s current U.S. page lists approximately one-second response, useful for repetitive dosing or package checks.
Seafood and wet prep
Use trays or liners for seafood and damp products, clean between species or allergens and verify after washdown. Battery operation preserves IP65. The optional adapter removes IP65 compliance, so disconnect it and protect the electrical accessory before sanitation.
Internal process use
The current U.S. HL-1000WPF entry is not marked legal for trade. Use it for internal food preparation and quality checks. If customer price is based on weight, choose a specifically approved model and verify its nameplate and certificate rather than relying on the dealer category.
