A&D FX-300iWP calibration uses external references, with 300 g, 200 g and 100 g values listed. For the complete product overview and model-selection guidance, see the main FX-300iWP buyer guide

Calibration and multi-point verification

Use a rigid level bench, stabilize temperature and reduce drafts, vibration and static. Calibrate with an appropriate 300 g, 200 g or 100 g reference, then test an independent known load. Low-, middle- and high-range checks distinguish repeatability, linearity and environmental problems better than a single successful CAL point.

Post-cleaning checks

After water cleaning, dry the scale, correctly reassemble the pan/support and allow stabilization. Verify zero and a known load before production. For food R&D, formulation, wet-QC and electronics examples, see the FX-300iWP applications guide

RS-232C and IP65

RS-232C is standard. Use the waterproof A&D cable where the connector must remain suitable for wet use. Internal Quick USB, Ethernet and rechargeable-battery options are mutually exclusive and remove IP65 compliance.

Plain WP versus WPN

FX-300iWP is the standard process balance. FX-300iWPN is the separate legal-for-trade IP65 configuration. Calibration or sealing does not change the plain WP model’s type approval.

Troubleshooting priorities

For unstable results, inspect drafts, static, vibration, temperature and pan contact. If error changes with load, perform multi-point checks and arrange service when necessary. If local weight is correct but transmitted data is wrong, troubleshoot communication settings and cabling.
