Check capacity, readability and pan size

The A&D FX-123 balance has a 122 g capacity, 0.001 g readability and a 130 mm diameter weighing pan. Allow for the container as well as its contents when checking capacity. Readability describes the displayed increment; it is not a guarantee of the accuracy of every measurement.

Review the calibration-weight package

The FX-123 uses an external weight for sensitivity adjustment. The All Scales USA package includes a 100 g weight described as Texan-tested: checked in Texas against the seller's own weights. That description does not establish an accredited calibration certificate. If your quality procedure requires documented traceability, specify the certificate and weight class you need when reviewing calibration weights.

Match the equipment to your workspace

Plan a stable, level surface away from drafts, vibration and temperature changes. Confirm the breeze break, power adapter and required connections in the package. Match any scale cable or connector to the exact balance and receiving device; matching plugs alone do not establish compatibility.
