Compare selected Sartorius models

Analytical balances

Secura 124-1S: 120 g capacity × 0.0001 g (0.1 mg) readability. Compare this analytical model when your method calls for finer display increments than a 1 mg balance.

Precision and top-loading balances

Entris II Essential BCE623-1S: 620 g × 0.001 g (1 mg), with external adjustment. A milligram model to consider when both the sample and container fit within its capacity.

Original Entris ENTRIS2202-1SUS: 2,200 g × 0.01 g. ENTRIS6202-1S: 6,200 g × 0.01 g. These externally adjusted models offer different capacities at the same display increment.

Cubis MSA1203S100DE: 1,200 g × 0.001 g (1 mg). Compare this Cubis MSA configuration if you need more capacity at the same readability as the BCE623-1S.

Semi-micro and micro balances

Secura125-1S: 120 g × 0.01 mg for semi-micro weighing. Secura26-1S: 21 g × 0.002 mg (2 µg) for micro weighing. Both have internal adjustment; check your method and installation requirements before choosing.

Moisture analyzers

MA37: 70 g weighing capacity, 1 mg weight readability and 0.01% moisture readability. Compare the sample method, heating settings and reporting needs when choosing a moisture analyzer.

Accessories

YDP40 laboratory printer: review the printer connection and compatibility with your exact balance. Match cables, adapters and other accessories by model number before ordering.

Choose the right balance

Start with the maximum load, including the container, and the smallest sample you expect to weigh. Readability is the smallest displayed increment; also check repeatability and the tolerances in your weighing method. Consider pan size, draft protection and the installation environment.

For a replacement, match the complete model number and suffix. For a new setup, check adjustment method, computer or printer connections, and any documentation your procedure requires. A finer display increment alone does not establish that a balance meets your process requirements.

Questions before ordering

Do all Sartorius balances have internal calibration?

No. Adjustment features vary by model. The BCE623-1S and original Entris examples above use an external weight. Check whether your selected model has internal adjustment and whether any required external weight is included.
