How to choose a jewelry scale

Decide the smallest piece you will trust, then pick readability one step tighter. A 0.1 g NTEP EK-1200i is a common gold-buy counter scale; it is the wrong tool for melee diamonds. Draft shields matter at 0.01 g and below. Confirm units (g, ct, oz t) on the product page. If the counter sells by weight, filter to NTEP on the product, then use NTEP Legal for Trade for the Texas context. Do not use a shipping postal scale for precious metal.
