How to choose a digital scale
Capacity and readability. Buy the pan and increment that match the job. A 0.001 g pharmacy balance is the wrong tool for a pallet, and a floor platform will not compound a capsule.
Legal for trade. If you sell by weight, you need an NTEP model and a placed-in-service process. Buying NTEP is not the same as being legal to use.
Environment. Washdown, breeze, vibration, and overhead lifts all change the SKU. Say how the scale will live.
Calibration path. External-cal milligram balances need a weight. Our A&D FX leftover stock includes a 100 g Texan-tested calibration weight when that kit is in the listing.
Support. A scale shop can match a cell, cable, and indicator. A general store cannot.
