A&D FX-300iN Precision Balance, 320 g × 0.001 g, NTEP

The A&D FX-300iN precision balance provides 320 g capacity and 0.001 g display readability for weighing applications that require the appropriate approved configuration. Its compact design, stainless-steel pan and bright vacuum fluorescent display suit everyday bench use.
External calibration uses a separate suitable weight.
Standard bidirectional RS-232C connects to compatible computers and peripherals.
A small draft shield is included to reduce the effect of air movement around the pan.
Approved weighing configuration
The FX-300iN is listed as NTEP Class II in Certificate of Conformance 08-045A6. The fine display division is d = 0.001 g; the verification interval is e = 0.01 g. These are different specifications.
In e=10d configuration the display division is 0.001 g; where the actual hardware/firmware supports approved e=d configuration, the display division becomes 0.01 g. The approved mode, matching label and seal must be confirmed for the supplied unit and intended application. A&D standard mode is non-legal-for-trade.
Applicable direct-sale use requires the proper e=d configuration. Earlier production may support e=10d only, so do not assume every unit can be switched. Arrange calibration and sealing through the appropriate weights-and-measures official or authorized service provider. Percent mode is disabled in NTEP mode; do not assume unrestricted standard-series units or trade-counting approval.
Included and optional equipment
Standard manufacturer contents include the balance, stainless-steel weighing pan and pan support, AC adapter, main-unit protective cover, small draft shield.
Quick USB (FXi-02), Ethernet (FXi-08), rechargeable battery (FXi-09), calibration weights and communication cables are separate options. FXi-02 provides one-way weight-data transfer. FXi-02, FXi-08 and FXi-09 cannot be installed together.
Any approved optional interface or battery must be installed before legal-for-trade sealing.
This FX model has no internal calibration mass or internal clock/calendar.
