The A&D FX-120i is a milligram-class precision balance for reloading and laboratory work: 122 g × 0.001 g, Compact Super Hybrid Sensor, external calibration, VFD, RS-232 standard, ~1 second stabilize. It is a real A&D lab sensor — not a 0.1 g powder toy.

Discontinued — limited stock remaining
The FX-120i has been discontinued. Limited stock remains. After you order, All Scales may contact you about a possible change to an FX-200i, FX-300i, or FX-123. An upgrade or change to one of those models is at no extra charge.
FX-200i and FX-300i are the exact same scale as the 120i, just higher capacity. FX-123 is the successor to the 120i (same 122 g × 0.001 g class).
Every purchase includes a 100 gram Texan-tested calibration weight (a $159 value).

What it is used for
This is a 122 g milligram balance. Real uses on this platform:

Precision reloading — weigh powder, sort brass, check bullets. Grain (gn) is a selectable A&D unit. Factory readability is 0.001 g; we do not print a dealer-converted “0.02 gn” as an A&D spec.
General laboratory weighing and lab / QC checks
Formulation and compounding on a milligram pan
Jewelry / precious metals (pieces and samples that fit 122 g)
Parts counting (ACAI), percent weighing, checkweighing / comparator
Animal / dynamic weighing, statistical calculation, GLP/GMP output

It is not a floor scale, not a legal-for-trade counter (that is FX-120iN), and not the waterproof SKU (FX-120iWP).
Bench and lab facts

External calibration. A 100 g Texan-tested calibration weight is included with every purchase.
VFD display. Bright, shop- and bench-readable.
RS-232 standard. Quick USB is an A&D option (FX-i-02), not in the box.
3.4" breeze break is included as a factory standard accessory. The 7.9" FX-i-11 is an optional upgrade. FX-i-10 is the 3.4" spare/replacement part number.
Compact SHS, pan Ø130 mm, stabilize about 1 second.

NTEP: this standard FX-120i is not NTEP. The NTEP Class II SKU is FX-120iN. Reloading and most lab process weighing do not require NTEP.
IP65: this is not the waterproof model. That SKU is FX-120iWP.
AutoTrickler: AutoTrickler’s own FAQ lists V4 as compatible with A&D FX/FZ 120i, 200i, 300i, 500i, and FX-123. Still confirm current firmware and the exact scale with the maker (AutoTrickler) before you buy adapters. This balance is RS-232 standard.
