A&D EW-12Ki Compact Balance, 3/6/12 kg × 1/2/5 g, NTEP
The A&D EW-12Ki compact balance offers 3000 g × 1 g; 6000 g × 2 g; 12000 g × 5 g across its weighing ranges. A stainless-steel pan, backlit display and standard RS-232C connection support routine weighing, counting and quality-control work.

NTEP & Commercial Use
NTEP certificate 04-019A3 lists EW-12Ki as Class III. The counting feature is not legal for trade.
Devices manufactured after February 25, 2020 with a combined “0/T” key must carry a “Not for Direct Sales” marking. Before commercial use, confirm the supplied unit’s configuration, approval markings, sealing and applicable local requirements.
The certificate includes single-range and multi-interval configurations. Do not assume every range setting is approved on the supplied unit.
Calibration & Connections
EW-12Ki uses an external calibration weight. The factory default is 12000 g. Follow the instruction manual’s warm-up, supported calibration-mass and environmental requirements.
RS-232C is standard. USB connection requires a compatible separate converter and cable; USB is not built in. The optional EKW-09i battery pack and EKW-04i relay output cannot be used simultaneously.
