  • NTEP & Commercial Use

    NTEP certificate 04-019A3 lists the EK-1200i at 1200 g × 0.1 g, Class II. The counting feature is not legal for trade.

    The certificate requires units manufactured after February 25, 2020 with a combined “0/T” key to carry a “Not for Direct Sales” marking. Before commercial use, confirm the supplied unit’s configuration, markings and applicable local requirements. Contact us if you need help selecting a scale for a specific sales application.

  • Calibration & Connections

    The EK-1200i uses an external calibration weight. The factory default is 1200 g; the manual explains how to select another supported mass. Allow at least 30 minutes of warm-up before calibration and recalibrate after moving the balance or when the operating environment changes.

    RS-232C is standard. A compatible USB-to-RS-232 converter is an optional accessory. Confirm the connection and software requirements of your computer or printer before ordering a cable.
