Around 2018 Torrey moved many LPC / PC / LEQ families to a smaller 4 V battery (OEM 21900926) charged by a 6 V-class adapter (OEM 21900978). Older units use a 6 V battery (OEM 21900003) and a 9 V adapter (OEM 21900706). Confirm the manufacturing tag: Voltage 6 VDC / Rechargeable Battery 4 VDC versus older 9 VDC / 6 VDC.
