A&D EK-6000i 6000 g × 1 g NTEP Class III balance is the legal-for-trade 6 kg member of A&D’s compact EK-i lineup. A&D’s current U.S. product page explicitly lists 6,000 g capacity, 1 g readability, external calibration and NTEP Class III status. That makes EK-6000i fundamentally different from the similarly named EK-6100i: both have 6 kg capacity, but EK-6000i is the certified trade model at 1 g while EK-6100i is the finer 0.1 g non-NTEP process model. EK-6000i also retains standard RS-232C, ACAI counting, percent, comparator functions and underhook support, making it useful when commercial approval and data/process features must coexist.
Exact EK-6000i specifications
Capacity is 6,000 g with 1 g readability. A&D’s U.S. page lists approximately two-second stabilization, a 133 × 170 mm stainless pan and external calibration.
