A&D FC-5000i for bearings, fasteners and maintenance parts provides 5 kg / 10 lb capacity for larger bins and sample lots while retaining ACAI, 500 item memories and fine-mode piece calculation. It is a practical warehouse choice when smaller FC-i models would be overloaded by the container or batch size.
Bearings and machined hardware
Medium bearings, bushings, fittings and machined hardware are often uniform enough for efficient weight-based counting. Build a representative sample, use ACAI to refine it and periodically verify a hand count. Oil, chips or protective coating can change piece mass and should be considered when receiving parts from different sources.
Maintenance storerooms
Store common SKUs and tare values in memory so cycle counts can be repeated quickly. A 5 kg local range works for heavier bins than the 1–2 kg models, reducing the need to transfer parts into tiny sample trays. Keep gross load below capacity even after tare is applied.
Receiving and production packaging
