A&D FS-15Ki for meat, seafood, produce and package checkweighing combines a 15 kg / 35 lb range with a food-friendly IP65 stainless enclosure and fast comparator feedback. It suits larger trays and packaged items than FS-6Ki while retaining the same compact 250 × 250 mm pan footprint.
Meat and seafood trays
Set target and tolerance limits for trays, cuts, fillets or bulk portions. The red/green/yellow comparator lamps give line staff immediate feedback. For raw-food areas, clean and sanitize according to the process, inspect beneath the pan for residue and verify with a known weight after washdown.
Produce grading and packing
Use comparator ranges to grade produce boxes, bags or trays by target weight. The analog sweep makes manual top-off easier, which can reduce overfill. For variable products, choose tolerance bands based on the production specification rather than the finest available display setting alone.
Deli and prepared-food batching
Store up to 100 recipes/products with recurring comparator settings. Preset tare and take-away checkweighing can speed repetitive container work. Keep container plus product within 15 kg gross capacity; pressing tare does not physically increase what the load cell can carry.
Net-content and commercial considerations
Process checkweighing and legal-for-trade transaction weighing are not always the same requirement.
