A&D FX-120iWP is a 122 g × 0.001 g external-calibration precision balance for laboratories and production areas exposed to dust, splashes, powders or frequent cleanup. It combines IP65 construction, approximately one-second stabilization, standard RS-232C, ACAI counting, percent, statistics, comparator and underhook weighing. The plain FX-120iWP is the standard process model; FX-120iWPN is the separate legal-for-trade configuration.
Core specifications
Capacity is 122 g with 0.001 g readability and repeatability, ±0.002 g linearity and a roughly 130 mm stainless pan. Counting supports 0.001 g minimum unit mass with suitable samples, while percent mode uses a 0.1 g minimum 100% reference. The last displayed digit is not the same as complete measurement uncertainty; drafts, static, vibration, temperature and sample behavior remain important.

IP65 protection and cleaning limits
IP65 protects against dust and water jets in the intended configuration. Do not immerse the balance or direct water from underneath. Internal FXi-02 Quick USB, FXi-08 Ethernet and FXi-09 battery options are mutually exclusive and remove IP65 compliance when installed. Standard RS-232C can be used with the specified waterproof cable when the environmental rating must be preserved.
Calibration, verification and troubleshooting
FX-120iWP uses external calibration, with 100 g and 50 g values listed for the model. Level and stabilize the balance, use an appropriate calibrated reference and verify afterward with an independent known weight. FX-120iWP versus FX-120iWPN
FX-120iWP is the standard IP65 external-calibration process model. FX-120iWPN is the separate IP65 legal-for-trade model identified by A&D for approved commercial use. Calibration, sealing or inspection does not convert a plain WP into the WPN configuration.
