Food and ingredient laboratories
The 220 g range accommodates many sample cups and beakers plus small ingredient additions. Standardize vessels, control airflow and verify performance before critical batches. IP65 helps with cleanup around splashes but does not replace hygienic procedures or material-compatible sanitizing.
Formulation and compounding
The 0.001 g display supports small additions while 220 g gross capacity leaves more room for the vessel than FX-120iWP. Record actual additions rather than assuming targets were achieved. Warm, volatile or static-charged samples may drift even when calibration is correct.
Electronics and small components
ACAI counting can support uniform components. Increase sample size as part variability rises, control static from plastic trays and confirm a known hand count before adjusting inventory.
Wet-process QC and cleaning

When another model is better
Choose FX-120iWP when lower capacity is sufficient, FX-300iWP when 320 g gross capacity is needed, FZ-200iWP for internal calibration or FX-200iWPN for the approved legal-for-trade IP65 configuration.
