A&D FX-3000iWP for large batches and food QC provides 3200 g capacity with 0.01 g readability in an IP65 external-calibration platform. It is a practical bridge between laboratory precision balances and larger industrial scales when production needs several kilograms of gross capacity but still benefits from hundredth-gram resolution.
Large batch and formulation work
The 3.2 kg range supports larger bowls, beakers and production vessels. Calculate gross load before selecting the model because tare does not increase physical capacity. Use percent mode for relative formulas and record actual additions. For process control, verify the balance before high-value batches and after relocation or impact.
Packaged goods and food QC
Comparator and statistics functions can screen sample packages and summarize repeated fill measurements. Standard RS-232C supports data capture to a printer or PC. If the weighing result is used directly to determine a customer transaction, use the separate WPN legal-for-trade model rather than the standard WP process balance.
Animal weighing and moving samples

Locate PCs, printers and power supplies outside the splash zone or protect them appropriately—the balance’s enclosure rating does not extend to connected peripherals.
