A&D HL-3000WP is a 3000 g × 1 g IP65 compact washdown scale with a 128 × 128 mm small pan for food prep, seafood, bakery and wet production. It provides the same capacity and readability as HL-3000LWP but uses a smaller platform for tighter workspaces and smaller containers.

Specifications and pan tradeoff
Capacity is 3000 g and readability is 1 g. The standard compact pan is 128 × 128 mm and the scale weighs approximately 870 g. Six AA batteries provide about 200 hours, while tare, zero/net indication, low-battery warning and auto power-off support daily use. Choose the small-pan model for cups, bowls and trays that fit safely; broad containers may bridge against the housing or bench.
IP65, NSF and one-second response
SUS304 construction, NSF 169/14159-1 listings and approximately one-second response make the scale useful in hygienic production. IP65 supports dust and water jets but not immersion. The optional AC adapter removes IP65 compliance, so wet stations should normally use batteries and disconnect the adapter before washing.
External calibration
Use a suitable external reference on a stable dry bench, then independently verify zero, repeatability and a normal working load. The small pan makes container contact an important diagnostic. Calibration cannot compensate when an overhanging bowl touches another surface.
HL-3000WPF versus HL-3000WPNF
A&D U.S. lists HL-3000WPF as the standard small-pan process model and HL-3000WPNF as the separate NTEP legal-for-trade model. MNM’s page uses the base HL-3000WP name. For commercial use, confirm the delivered nameplate says the approved WPNF configuration and meet local sealing or placement-in-service requirements.
HL-3000WP versus HL-3000LWP
Both models weigh 3000 g × 1 g. HL-3000WP has a 128 mm square pan and approximately 870 g body weight. HL-3000LWP has a 174 × 137 mm pan and weighs approximately 950 g. Select the pan that safely supports actual containers; the larger pan does not change capacity or readability.
